Uneven Skin Tone? Eliminate Cellulite and Stretch Marks Using Endermologie
Toned beautiful lengthy-looking legs in micro-mini skirts or hot bum shorts, firm, full rounded butts, and a trim-looking abdomen to die for? It seems like a picture of Beyonce off the Vogue magazine cover, right? What if I told you you could have the same look with a treatment? What if I told you, you don’t have to worry about all the unsightly-looking cellulite around your outer or inner thighs? Pregnancy-related skin issues? Or fulfilling the desire of every fashionista; to have killer smooth-looking bums in a bikini sashaying around on the beach? Or do you want to live a long, healthy, and toned life? Let me introduce you to Endermologie. This treatment allows you to target slim cellulite-prone regions resistant to diet and exercise (arms, back, stomach, waist, thighs, etc.) depending on the skin type demands. In a clinical trial investigating the efficacy of LPG Endermologie, Fifteen women underwent the treatment twice weekly for a total of 15 sessions using digital photography to quantify cellulite shapes.

Results: There were significant variations in mean cellulite grades before and after therapy. However, only five ladies saw a reduction in cellulite appearance (15 percent). Every measured body location indicated a considerable circumference decrease in all individuals. The total and average body circumferences of weight losers were substantially lower than weight gainers.

Although LPG Endermologie is a well-tolerated and efficient treatment for lowering body circumference, it is only somewhat helpful in reducing cellulite grade. Having said that, it is essential to note that depending on long-term diet, exercise, and lifestyle issues, slimming and contouring all over the body is not doable for everyone. Endermologie, on the other hand, is unique, adaptable, and effective throughout the body.

So a combination of adequate exercise, a good diet, a healthy lifestyle, and the LPG Endermologie treatments can help you touch up regions that are resistant to reduction. Areas such as abdomen, thighs cellulite, or a lack of vibrant tone in your buttocks. This article will talk about the improvements in cellulite removal through Endermologie. We will focus on facts but not on a clinical study or its results.

The Cellulite Problem:

Cellulite is a widespread bodily problem that affects 85% of women. The dimpling and an uneven look, especially the thighs, are generated by connective bands in the subcutaneous, connective tissue, and dermal layers dragging in the skin. You won’t be able to get rid of cellulite permanently without Endermologie, especially as you age, no matter how much you work out or eat.

Because some women have more fibrous bands than others, their cellulite is more apparent. Not many people know that cellulite is caused by fibrous bands that connect the surface fascia (top layer of skin) to the muscles, not by a bad diet or lifestyle. That said, what triggers the appearance of cellulite? The primary causes are hormones, pregnancy-related issues, aging, and water retention.

Cellulite is caused by these bands, which run from the buttocks and thighs to the belly, tugging nearby fat cells and forcing them to bulge. Hormones cause these fibers to become firmer and more elastic, forcing cellulite to become more noticeable.

What is the Endermologie Process:

Endermologie is a non-surgical, FDA-approved non-invasive cosmetic procedure designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks, and thickened areas of fat and improve your overall skin quality by using rollers to massage the skin and cause the underlying tissues to contract. It’s a popular cosmetic treatment that can give you great results with minimal risk of injury or side effects. Dr. David Dusheiko developed the method in the 1970s.

The therapy is performed by a trained, certified Endermologie practitioner and is most effective on cellulite areas, arms, legs, and abdomen. The treatments are safe for all ages. The process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers while breaking down fat cells, which are then naturally removed by your body’s lymphatic system.

According to researchers at researchgate, Endermológia® LPG® is a patented non-invasive, 100 percent natural technique of mechanical stimulation of cells aiming at systemic tissue manipulation by skin application. Using the effect of mechanical forces on cellular response in the treatment of post-traumatic, post-operative, and post-implantation conditions with Endermologie®-mechanotransduction represents a revolutionary solution in tissue rehabilitation and positive target tissue influencing, with faster regeneration.

Typical results of the treatments include:

    • Improved skin tone and texture
    • Reductions in cellulite appearance
    • Smoother skin
    • Improved Secondary Lymphedema
    • Improvement of lymphatic circulation and drainage around the treated area
    • Less noticeable stretch marks
    • A more toned body

The success of Endermologie comes from the fact that it requires no downtime and can be done in a short amount of time. This makes it an excellent option for people who want to improve their appearance or skin elasticity but don’t want to invest in invasive procedures like liposuction or other forms of surgery.

While you can find the treatments at some spas and salons, most patients prefer this treatment at home due to the ease of operating the machine and comfortability. Though, it’s essential to get it done with a certified practitioner or follow directions carefully when performing this treatment at home. If you use too much pressure or move too quickly, you could cause bruising or other possible side effects.

How Does Endermologie work:

Endermologie works by massaging the cellulite-affected areas through repeated movements with a specialized handpiece and suction. The suction lifts the connective bands that are pulling down on the skin, causing the dimpling in an attempt to break it up and release it from underneath the skin. The massage action of moving horizontally along the fibrous band stimulates lymphatic drainage, thus encouraging healthy circulation and reducing inflammation. Achieving this results in smoother, tighter-looking skin and improved elasticity in the affected area.

The treatment is a 3-step process:

Pre-treatment: The area is first cleansed and prepped for treatment. A gentle vacuum is applied to draw the skin into a mesh bag using air pressure. This helps massage the skin and improves circulation while warming the muscles underneath.

Treatment: The vacuum is then removed, and the machine delivers a series of massaging rollers across the targeted areas.

Post-treatment: As part of this relaxing wrap treatment, the area is then massaged by hand with a soothing cream or gel to improve circulation and overall relaxation further.

During a typical treatment, the patient lies face down on a massage table, and areas that require treatment are covered with a special gel. A therapist will then use mechanical rollers over the treatment area to gently massage your skin, breaking down fat cells and stimulating collagen production. The application of heat increases blood circulation in the treated area resulting in enhanced results. However, the process is most effective on people who have lost weight but have stubborn pockets of fat around their abdomen or waist, as well as cellulite.

Some patients experience visible results after just one session; however, most consider twelve-sixteen sessions necessary in the long term to see optimal results.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Endermologie.
Advantages:
    • No surgery or anesthesia is required.
    • Non-invasive – no needles or incisions are necessary.
    • It is a quick treatment and can take place in your own home; you don’t have to go to a clinic or spa for each session.
    • Beyond cellulite and fat reduction, its health benefits include muscle pain relief, lymphatic stimulation, and fluid drainage.
    • No downtime – you can usually resume normal activities immediately after treatment sessions.
    • Though some temporary redness may occur after the session, no significant discomfort is involved. Most patients feel relaxed throughout the process.
Disadvantages
    • Results are gradual; 12-16 treatment sessions are recommended to get started. Treatments may need to be continued over several months with regular visits to your therapist for maintenance.
    • The cost of each treatment session will add up to be very expensive in the long run to maintain.
    • The results take a while to become visible, and it is not permanent. Follow-up appointments are necessary to maintain results.
    • Pregnant women and those on blood-thinning drugs, especially those with hypertension, are not eligible for the treatment.
    • No one has yet developed an all-natural cure for cellulite; Endermologie cannot promise that every patient will achieve a permanent cure.

Although there’s presently no therapy that will eliminate cellulite, steps like diet, exercise, and a healthy dose of Endermologie would help smooth and enhance the problem areas. It’s also possible to apply the treatment to reduce edema, muscle pain, even out, and tone up skin texture. After the initial set of treatments, one treatment is advised per month to maintain effects. The number of treatments and any further maintenance sessions will be determined by the client’s desired goal and discussion with a certified practitioner before treatment.
