Is Exercising Stressful for You? Try These 5 Other Ways to Beat Belly Fat at Your own Pace

A lot of people, women, men and teens have a common problem – belly fat. I know first hand that having a flat belly and curves at the right places is no easy feat. Sure, a good exercise routine can get you defined abs but what if like me, you find it really hard to hit the gym for exercising. You might think that working out for hours on end is the best way to shed excess fat, but that’s not true. You can lose belly fat without exercising at all, in fact, as long as you make the right choices.

No worries! We will discuss how you can shed belly fat if exercising is not your forte.

Cleanse Your System

Every time you drink packaged sodas or fruit juice, just know that you take in more calories than usual. Of course, these packaged juices are claimed to be made from real fruit juices, they contain high amounts of sugar, flavour, and colour.  Bloating and constipation are two major causes of belly fat.

Therefore, drinking detox and cleansing juices are needed to get rid of toxins and your body needs to follow a routine to use the bathroom every day. If your brain begins to ignore and avoid the body’s signals, after a while, you will begin to feel constipated, and, in the long run, bloated.

Consider a Body Wrap

Body wraps are spa treatments that have been said to detoxify and slim the tummy area. The aesthetician will start by massaging and applying a body scrub – which contains a variety of herbs and minerals thought to cleanse the skin of impurities and reduce the appearance of fat or cellulite – to your midsection, which will then be rinsed in a shower.

After this, the midsection will be securely wrapped in linen, plastic, or thermal sheets, and then an electric heated blanket will be used to warm the body for about 30 minutes, which will cause sweating. This particular step is thought the most important to remove impurities and reduce the appearance of fat.

After the blanket and wraps are taken off, the stomach region will be massaged again to increase blood flow.

Use Supplements

B-complex and calcium are vital supplements for your well-being. When most women reach menopause, the estrogen levels drop, and the protective fat settles around your belly area. Therefore, B-complex vitamins and calcium are not only a much-needed routine for your well-being, they also help in regulating the levels of estrogen in your body.

These supplements help to flush out the excess estrogen and give you a slimmer waistline.

Try Tummy-Control Garments

More now than ever, there are so many options in the undergarment industry for clothing that tighten, firm, and shape the midsection. Popularly known as waist trainers or Spanx, tummy-control garments are available in many types for people of most sizes.

Women’s shapewear include waist trainers, waist cinchers, tummy-control pantyhose, panties, high-waisted panties and bodysuits. There are also many options for men, including Spanx or brand tank tops that target the abdominals.

These are essentially compression shirts that whittle the appearance of the midsection. Don’t tell me you thought men can’t wear shapewear!!!

Avoid Swallowing Air

Strange right? But don’t discard it until you understand why. Swallowed air is one of the biggest causes of bloating, which contributes to a rounder belly. By simply reducing the amount of air you swallow throughout the day, your belly will be better for it.

Avoid carbonated beverages, even those with zero calories like carbonated water because drinks with air in them fill your abdomen with air, which causes a bloated belly. This is where I tell you to avoid smoking – inhaling smoke and swallowing it, also causes bloating.

You shouldn’t also be chewing gum or talking while eating. Both of these habits lead to swallowed air which in turn causes bloating.

Get enough sleep.

I know you are grinning thinking of how sleep can burn belly fat. The truth is sleeping doesn’t burn fat on its own, but it is a crucial part of a weight loss journey. This is mainly because not getting enough sleep makes it more difficult to lose weight.

When you aren’t well-rested, it’s hard to motivate yourself to be agile, it is also hard to control junk food cravings and you’re more likely to overeat when you’re already sapped of energy.

I know this. I mean, I’m in the struggle too, you know. Getting rid of belly fat without working out is hard work, but not impossible. Having said that, you must consider eating healthy and living an overall healthier life to achieve that perfect body you desire.
